Mindful Self-Compassion

MSC is an 8-week training programme based on the ground-breaking research of the world’s leading self-compassion expert Kristin Neff and the clinical expertise of Chris Germer. In this programme you will cultivate the skills of self-compassion, the core principles and practices that enable you to respond to difficult moments with kindness and understanding.

 

Everyone is welcome - people of all backgrounds and identities can benefit from self-compassion. No previous experience with mindfulness or meditation is required to attend MSC. 

Self-compassion provides emotional strength and resilience, allowing us to acknowledge our shortcomings, motivate ourselves with kindness, forgive ourselves when needed, relate wholeheartedly to others, and be more authentically ourselves.

  • The MSC programme includes 20 practices, 14 exercises and 7 meditations, including  scientific research and insights underlying  the practices.

  • Participants will receive a workbook and audio links to meditations. 

  • They will also have access to an ongoing drop in group if they wish to continue to practice in community going forwards.
