Compassion Space

Taking a Breath for You

"Create a clearing in the dense forest of your life"

Mindful Self-Compassion

MSC is an 8-week training programme based on the ground-breaking research of the world’s leading self-compassion expert Kristin Neff and the clinical expertise of Chris Germer.

Would you like to:

  • Develop a kinder relationship with yourself?

  • Be more authentic in your relationships with others?

  • Motivate yourself with kindness rather than self-criticism?

The course is a heartfelt, nurturing programme that uses meditations, group discussion, and experiential exercises to help individuals explore:

  • How to stop being so hard on yourself.

  • How to handle difficult emotions with greater ease.

  • How to handle care giver fatigue and burn out.

  • How to transform difficult relationships, both old and new.

Compassionate Touch

Embodied self-compassion is integral to my approach. Compassion Space is a safe, nurturing place where people can take time to  listen to their body's wisdom.

What is Compassionate Touch?

Massage can help us be with ourselves in a spacious and loving way. Touch is integral to our development and well-being as humans. A compassionate, kind touch can help us contact areas of tension, connect with our breath and gain the benefits of the parasympathetic nervous system.

Interoception - awareness of the body's internal state - is gaining recognition as a new form of intelligence that helps offset the intensity of modern life. Embodied compassion heps us improve our self-awareness, which in turn can increase our capacity for self-care.

The aim of sessions is to allow us to slow down and show up for this body too.
